Flying "C" bodies: These come in four colours & three sizes, they are silicon & will expand to almost double their diameter to fit over the weight. Like the rest of the components in our range, these bodies are NOT from China, these Flying "C" bodies are made in ENGLAND.
They are packed in dozens of one colour or a try pack of all four. Sizes :- 7mm X 80mm, 5mm X 50mm, 3mm X 30mm. Uses:- Apart from the obvious, they can be cut shorter & used to give flash / attraction to the hook of any lure. They can be used as bodies for predator flies. They can also be doubled up to create multi-coloured Flying Cs, used on your line above bait for extra attraction & the list goes on !
Sovereign Rattles: ..A very useful addition to almost any lure, made of high impact plastic and sharp at one end so they can be pushed into soft plastics with ease, necked in towards the back end so that they can be attached to spinner baits with the use of a float band, usually on the frame wire just beneath the blades. For those of you who make your own lures, these are easy to insert during manufacture and they are very reasonably priced.
Allcock 5 1/2 ozs Spoon Blanks We bought these spoon blanks from the receivers / accountants who dealt with the closing down of Allcocks some years back. They were at the time making things for other companies & we were told they were making these for Williamson's. Whichever way you look at it these are english made spoons. They are badged / labeled as 5 1/2oz, but the brass ones weigh 50g & the stainless steel ones weigh 45g . when we had them the copper ones did indeed weigh 2oz / 56gms. They do however need polishing & hooks fitting. We have experimented with a few different ideas over the years, including polishing just one side, or half of both sides to create different amounts of "flash", but they catch weather polished or not & unlike most spoons available these days, these are solid, "not plated" so they will never rust, the colour will not change from brass to rusty steel after a winter in your bag / box.
They can be polished / buffed as many times a you like with out losing their colour or rusting as they are solid metal!
